Key West
The Key West is a compact 12-foot wide freeform pool that packs three full resort features into a small footprint: a tanning ledge, swim-up seating, and multiple entry points. At 3'7" to 6' of depth it has a more substantial deep end than most pools its size, and at 9,000 gallons it holds more water than its 12-foot width might suggest. For yards that cannot fit a 14 or 16-foot wide pool but still want the full freeform feature set, the Key West is a strong answer. Casey's All American Pool is an authorized Latham dealer serving Belpre, Parkersburg, and the entire Mid-Ohio Valley.

The Key West reaches 6 feet of depth on a 12-foot wide pool, which is unusual in the compact freeform category. Most 12-foot wide freeform models top out at 5 to 5'6". The Key West's 6-foot deep end gives it a genuine deep zone that adults can use properly, and at 9,000 gallons it holds substantially more water than the shallower Aruba or Bermuda 12 at similar widths. The depth gradient from 3'7" at the shallow ledge end to 6' at the far end covers nearly 2.5 feet, creating well-defined zones across the pool's length.
For homeowners who want a compact freeform pool but are not willing to give up a real deep end, the Key West is the model to compare against the Java and Bermuda.
The Key West includes a built-in tanning ledge at the shallow end, molded into the original fiberglass shell at 6 to 8 inches of depth. On a 12-foot wide compact freeform pool this is a meaningful distinction. Most compact models in this footprint range do not include a tanning ledge at all. The Key West includes all three resort features: ledge, bench, and multiple entries, in the same 12-foot wide shell that reaches 6 feet of depth. That combination makes it one of the most feature-complete compact freeform pools in the Latham catalog.
The Key West includes built-in swim-up bench seating and multiple entry and exit points distributed around its freeform perimeter. On a 12-foot wide pool the bench is positioned to create a second social zone without overwhelming the swim area. The multiple entries give layout flexibility and make the pool accessible from different sides of the patio. Both features are molded into the original fiberglass shell and require no separate installation or ongoing maintenance.
The combination of ledge, bench, and multiple entries in a compact footprint makes the Key West particularly well suited to social backyard settings where the pool is the gathering point regardless of its size.
At 9,000 gallons the Key West holds meaningfully more water than the other compact 12-foot freeform models. The Aruba holds 5,200 gallons. The Bermuda 12 holds 7,000. The Key West at 9,000 gallons has better thermal stability, more gradual chemistry changes, and a deeper feel in the water. It is a compact pool by footprint but not by volume, and that distinction matters during the season when the pool gets daily use.
