The Catalina's lounge is a no-float design with a specific jet layout you won't find on most 5-person spas. Wrist jets sit at armrest level to target forearms and hands. Foot jets at the base of the lounge deliver direct pressure to the soles and arches. The no-float shell holds you in position so every jet stays in contact with the right area throughout the soak.
For people who spend long hours on their feet, drive for a living, or work with their hands, the wrist and foot coverage in the Catalina is the detail that separates it from a standard lounge seat. Most owners say those two jet zones are what they use it for every single night.
The Catalina is the only rectangular hot tub in PDC's Premium Series. Every other Premium model is square. That rectangular shape matters in real yards. It sits against a wall, along a deck rail, or in an L-shaped patio corner where a square tub would either overhang or waste space. At 90 by 79 inches it's narrower than a standard square 5-person spa while still fitting five adults comfortably.

The four remaining seats in the Catalina are contoured bucket seats with armrests, each positioned to hold a specific posture with jets targeting the shoulder, upper back, and lower back zones from that angle. Armrests keep your shoulders at the right height so neck and shoulder jets hit correctly without any adjustment. The combination of armrests and contoured shells means you're held in place, not floating around between jets.
The seat layout in the Catalina works well for couples using the tub nightly, with enough variety in jet coverage across the five positions that nobody ends up stuck in the same seat every time.
All 54 jets in the Catalina are PDC's patented stainless steel Reflections jets, adjustable from your seat without getting up. You can rotate the jet face to redirect pressure to a different muscle group, or dial the intensity up or down, without interrupting your soak. The ProView digital control panel manages temperature, jets, and filtration from the spa's edge with a clean, straightforward interface.
EverPure ozone sanitation, PowerFlo filtration, TemperLok insulation, Prism LED lighting, and a deluxe thermal cover all come standard. The full Premium Series feature set in a footprint sized for yards and decks where the Barbados and Denali won't fit.
