The defining feature of the Tuscan collection is not the rectangular shape or the clean lines. It is the tanning ledge, included as a standard built-in element on every model. That means whether you choose the 14.27, the 14.30, or the 14.40, you get the same shallow-water lounging experience. At 6 to 8 inches of depth the ledge is where you rest, where kids play safely, and where a pair of ledge loungers turns a pool day into a resort experience.
Because the ledge is part of the original fiberglass shell, it requires no separate installation and no additional maintenance throughout the life of the pool.
The Tuscan naming convention tells you the story: the first number is the approximate width in feet, the second is the approximate length. All three WV sizes share the same ~14-foot width and clean rectangular profile, so the decision comes down to length. The 14.27 at just under 27 feet is the most compact of the three. The 14.30 at 30 feet is the sweet spot for most Mid-Ohio Valley homeowners: enough pool to feel like a real pool, a full tanning ledge, and a footprint that works on a standard suburban property. The 14.40 is the full-size flagship at nearly 40 feet long.

Every Tuscan model is engineered to accept an automatic safety cover from day one. On a pool with a tanning ledge the auto cover has an added benefit beyond safety: it keeps the ledge clean and ready to use every time you open the pool. One button opens the full cover, protecting the pool from debris, retaining heat, cutting evaporation, and reducing chemical use throughout the season. Adding it at installation is always less expensive and cleaner than retrofitting it later.

The 14.27 at 13'9" x 26'10" is the right call when your yard has a defined limit on pool length or you want more patio surround. It swims well and carries the full tanning ledge experience in the most compact footprint of the three. The 14.30 at 30 feet is where most buyers land: it adds meaningful swim length over the 14.27 without pushing into the 40-foot territory that requires a larger lot. The 14.40 at nearly 40 feet is for homeowners who want the maximum Tuscan experience and have the yard to support it.
