Cape Code
The Cape Cod collection is Latham's freeform pool family in three sizes. The compact Java (Cape Cod 12) and the mid-size Cape Cod (Cape Cod 14) both include a built-in tanning ledge, swim-up seating, and multiple entry points. The flagship Cambridge (Cape Cod 16) scales up to 16' x 36' with a full 7-foot deep end, swim-up seating, and multiple entries. All three share the same organic curved profile and the same Crystite finish options. Casey's All American Pool is an authorized Latham dealer serving Belpre, Parkersburg, and the entire Mid-Ohio Valley.

The Java (Cape Cod 12) is the entry point of the family at 12' x 27' and 6,800 gallons. At this size it competes with the Bermuda and Aruba for the compact freeform slot in a yard that cannot fit a 14 or 16-foot wide pool. The tanning ledge at this footprint is a meaningful feature. Most compact pools do not include one at all. The multi entry points and swim-up bench are also present, making the Java one of the most fully-featured compact freeform pools in the Latham catalog.
For homeowners who want the tanning ledge experience and a freeform shape but do not have the yard for a larger model, the Java is worth a close look.
The Cape Cod (Cape Cod 14) at 14' x 31' is the model most Mid-Ohio Valley homeowners land on when they want a freeform pool with a tanning ledge and enough room to properly swim. At 12,000 gallons it has real thermal stability and chemical balance, the tanning ledge is generous relative to the pool's width, and the 6-foot depth gives the pool a proper deep end without going into the 7-foot range that requires larger excavation. It is a well-proportioned mid-size pool that works on most standard suburban lots.
Casey can confirm whether the 14' x 31' footprint fits your yard during a free consultation.
The Cambridge (Cape Cod 16) is the flagship of the family and the most different from the other two. It does not include a tanning ledge. What it does include is a 16' x 36' freeform footprint with a full 7-foot deep end and 18,000 gallons. If you want a large freeform pool with maximum depth and volume and you are not specifically looking for a tanning ledge, the Cambridge delivers both in one shell. The 7-foot depth is substantial, the swim-up bench runs generously along the curved interior, and the organic freeform profile at 16 feet wide has genuine presence in a yard.
If you want the tanning ledge at 16 feet wide, the Cancun or Caribbean from the Bermuda family would be the comparison to make with Casey during your consultation.
Every Cape Cod family model includes multiple entry and exit points distributed around the freeform perimeter. On a curved organic pool shape this is both practical and design-forward. Multiple entries give you flexibility in how the pool sits relative to the patio and let different family members access the pool from wherever they naturally approach it. Combined with the swim-up bench seating present on all three models, every Cape Cod pool has a natural layout that accommodates a gathering without requiring everyone to funnel through one entry point.
All entry zones are molded into the original fiberglass shell and require no ongoing maintenance.
All three Cape Cod collection models are available in Latham's full Crystite color range. Crystite Crystal adds a shimmer finish. Crystite Classic is the traditional solid finish. Ask Casey about current availability and lead times during your free consultation.
