The Coronado includes a built-in tanning ledge at the shallow end of the pool, molded into the original fiberglass shell at 6 to 8 inches of depth. On a 15-foot wide pool the ledge has enough width to accommodate two ledge loungers side by side, which is the standard setup for the resort look most homeowners are after. Young children can play safely on the ledge while adults swim in the main pool area, and the ledge doubles as the natural sun-soaking zone for the whole family.

The Coronado's 15-foot width puts it between the 14-foot Laguna and Cancun and the 16-foot Caribbean and Cambridge. That one-foot difference is meaningful in practice. At 15 feet wide the tanning ledge is generously proportioned without consuming the swim area, the bench seating runs comfortably along the curved interior, and the pool has enough surface width that it never feels narrow during a busy family pool day. The 34-foot length is long enough for a proper swim lane while being shorter than the 35 and 40-foot models in the Bermuda family.
The 15' x 34' footprint fits most standard suburban lots with room for a comfortable patio surround.
The Coronado includes built-in swim-up bench seating molded into the curved interior at a comfortable partially-submerged sitting depth. Combined with the tanning ledge, this gives the Coronado two distinct gathering zones at different water levels, which creates the natural flow of a well-designed pool. Multiple entry and exit points are distributed around the freeform perimeter, giving flexibility in how the pool is oriented to the patio and making it accessible from multiple sides for a crowd.
All three features are part of the original fiberglass shell. No separate installation required on any of them.
The Coronado reaches 6 feet 6 inches at maximum depth, which is a substantial deep end on a freeform pool at this footprint. Most homeowners buying a freeform pool with a tanning ledge do so for the shallow-end resort experience, but the Coronado does not sacrifice the deep end to achieve it. The gradient from 3'6" at the ledge to 6'6" at the far end covers three full feet of depth, creating well-defined zones across the pool's 34-foot length. Adults have genuine depth to swim in, and the deep end contributes meaningfully to the pool's 13,000-gallon volume and thermal stability.
