Vista Isle
The Vista Isle is a compact 12-foot wide freeform pool at 12' x 28'6" with a tanning ledge, swim-up seating, and multiple entry points built into the original fiberglass shell. At 8,000 gallons it holds more water than its footprint suggests. The Vista Isle is slightly longer than the comparable Aruba and Java models, giving it a bit more swim room in a footprint that still fits a yard where a 14-foot wide pool would not. The Vista Isle includes a built-in tanning ledge at the shallow end of the pool, molded into the original fiberglass shell at 6 to 8 inches of depth. On a compact 12-foot wide pool a tanning ledge is a meaningful inclusion. Several 12-foot freeform models in the Latham catalog either omit the ledge entirely or include a very narrow version. The Vista Isle's ledge is proportioned to the 12-foot width and functions as a genuine sun and shallow play zone. Young children can use it safely while adults swim in the main pool area.
The Vista Isle at 28'6" long is slightly longer than the Java (27') and the Key West (25'7") at similar widths. Those extra few feet of length add meaningfully to the swim zone and the open water feel of the pool. At 8,000 gallons the Vista Isle also holds more water than the Aruba (5,200 gal) and sits between the Java (6,800 gal) and Key West (9,000 gal) in terms of volume. For a compact 12-foot wide pool the Vista Isle is among the more generously proportioned options in the length direction, which is often where compact pools feel most constrained.
The Vista Isle includes built-in swim-up bench seating and multiple entry and exit points around the freeform perimeter. The bench seating gives the pool a second social zone at wading depth beyond the tanning ledge. The multiple entries distribute access across the curved perimeter and give flexibility in how the pool relates to the patio. Both features are molded into the original fiberglass shell with no separate installation required. Three built-in features in a 12-foot compact shell makes the Vista Isle one of the more fully-equipped compact freeform options Casey carries.
At 12 feet wide Casey carries four compact freeform options: the Aruba (11x22, 5,200 gal), the Bermuda (12x26, 7,000 gal, no ledge), the Java (12x27, 6,800 gal, tanning ledge), the Key West (12x25'7", 9,000 gal, tanning ledge, 6' deep), and the Vista Isle (12x28'6", 8,000 gal, tanning ledge). The Vista Isle splits the difference between the Java and Key West in both length and volume, with the same three-feature set. If your priority is swim room at a 12-foot width with a tanning ledge and you are not specifically after the Key West's 6-foot deep end, the Vista Isle is the pool to compare against it directly with Casey.
