The built-in spa is integrated directly into the fiberglass shell, the wading area and swim-up bench seating come standard, and the 7-foot deep end puts this in serious swimming territory. The Astoria 16 spa is part of the same fiberglass shell as the pool. One installation, one plumbing system, one filtration setup, and one warranty covering everything. On a pool this size the visual impact is significant. The spa sits at the end of a nearly 40-foot pool and the combination reads like a custom-built resort installation. The Astoria 16 spa is molded directly into the fiberglass shell alongside the main pool. There is no separate unit, no gap in the coping, no second plumbing system to connect. The result is a clean, unified installation that looks designed rather than assembled. On a 40-foot pool the spa creates a visual anchor at one end that photographs and lives beautifully in a finished backyard.

Built-in bench seating runs along the interior of the Astoria 16, providing a comfortable partially-submerged seating zone between the main pool and the spa. On a nearly 16-foot wide pool the bench is proportioned generously and does not reduce the usable swim area. It creates a natural social zone that works whether you have two people in the water or a dozen.
Like all features on this model, the bench is part of the original fiberglass shell. No grout, no bolt-on parts, no maintenance beyond the pool itself.
The Astoria 16 includes a wading area running approximately 14 to 18 inches deep, distinct from a standard tanning ledge. That extra depth makes it a comfortable play zone for young children who want to be in the water rather than just sitting on a ledge. On a pool this size the wading area, bench seating, main pool, and spa create four usable zones, so multiple groups can use the pool simultaneously without crowding any single area.

The combination of a lit spa and a lit main pool on the Astoria 16 creates an after-dark visual that is hard to match with any other pool configuration. The Astoria 16 is available in Latham's full Crystite color range across two finish families. Crystite Crystal adds a shimmer effect embedded under the gel coat surface. Crystite Classic is the traditional solid finish. Both resist fading, staining, and UV damage well beyond standard gel coat.
